Valentine's Day

This is before church on Valentine's Day. I was so proud of myself because I found these dresses at Walmart for $2.00.

Riley and Sydney at Grandma Thompsen's on Valentine's Day.

Shelby will find balloons and walk around with them for quite a while. It is funny. This is a heart shaped one that my mom got from one of her students.

Riley and Sunbeams

I just wanted to say that I was soooo excited at church because Riley finally went to class by herself without crying!!! She told Ryan and me before church that she wasn't going to cry today and we were both thinking that we would see about that. She went right in and sat down by her teacher and actually started talking to her. It was nothing short of a miracle. I heard her tell her teacher that she wasn't going to cry today. When it was time to go, I dismissed her class and held my breath, along with everyone else in the room, waiting to hear the outburst of crying. To by surprise she got right up, held her teachers hand, which is HUGE for Riley, and walked right out. I was soooooo happy!! Anyway, hopefully it happens next week, but I am not holding by breath!

Shelby's birthday

Ryan got these balloons for Shelby's birthday. Shelby would have been happy with just that. I think that her two favorite presents were these balloons and a box that my mom put some clothes in for Shelby.

Ok, this is the only picture that we got of Ryan and the girls and Riley is totally picking her nose. I guess that it will be funny when she gets older, maybe.

Shelby was a little bit more interested in the camera than getting her picture taken.

These are the cute dresses that Shelby got from Grandma Donna for her birthday. I heard Riley tell her primary teacher that she got her pretty new dress for Shelby's birthday. I think that Riley had more fun than on her birthday than Shelby did.

Riley, Hudson, and Bryson eating cake on Shelby's birthday.

Shelby eating ice cream on her first birthday. She ate an entire plateful of ice cream and threw a fit when it was gone. She loves her sweets!!

This is Shelby getting sung to on her first birthday.

This is our attempt to get Shelby to open her birthday presents. As you can see she was more interested in the curling ribbon than opening them.

Animals in Grantsville

One evening when we first moved to Grantsville, Ryan said come here you have to see this. I looked outside and there were two enormous cows in our front yard. Well, they stayed there the entire night and pooped everywhere. It was kind of funny because who has cows on their front lawn?? Well, two days ago I look outside and we have two goats in our back yard. They wandered around and eventually made it to the front porch. They ate some grass and then they left. Riley liked seeing them, but kept saying that she wanted them to go home. I had to take a picture because it was so funny that we had goats on our front porch. Anyway, I guess this is just what happens when you live in G-ville!!

Church

I decided that I am just going to start putting on pictures of the girls before they go to church because that is when they are all dolled up and I always think that they look cute. We'll see if it really happens because we have 9:00 church and it might be pushin it to take a picture before we go.
